The D2Hs is the successor to the Nikon D2H DSLR. The main improvements are:
- reduced noise at high ISO
- better auto focus
- the new ASIC processes internally at 12-bit instead of 8-bit
- more accurate auto white balance
- increased memory buffer – D2Hs can shoot 50-frame bursts instead of the 40-frame burst of the D2H
- better menus
- additional DDR memory for improved speed and performance
